Art 1

This course is intended for students age 11 and up. Students study various visual arts concepts, compiling a portfolio throughout the course. Topics covered include pen and ink techniques (quill pens and ink, line drawing, brush and ink, and ink wash), color theory (watercolor applications), and figure drawing (classical proportions of the adult head and figure, body language and facial expressions). Student artwork will be showcased at various Faith Center events and performances.
